Now this is the same worker who heard some stuff in the last house. Only Brooke heard something too one night. She went there alone to clean up and when she opened the door she heard some sweeping. We joked that Bessy, the old owner was just helping her out.
I plan on doing some research to find who lived in the house. Brooke plans on saging the place. Not a bad idea. We should make it a practice to clean the energy out of all the houses for a fresh start.
But ghost stories are right up my alley. I went to the house last night to take some pictures. I was hoping to hear or see something, but I didn't.
Day 10 Progress: Roof shingles completely gone, half of roof re-tarped, basement door trim finished, house cabinets, bath fixtures dumped.
Below is my inspiration for the barn and house. Dark Brown with white trim. But with a orange-red door. for the garage and front door.
Freaky story! Maybe the one you heard walked past those roof tarps. It’s too bad that that house is abandoned. The roof shingles still look in decent shape and so do the walls. A few repairs would do it good, but not with the unusual thing that you guys experienced!
ReplyDeleteI second the motion. This is a freaky blog post! I heard that abandoned buildings are haunted by some spirits. True or not, still it gives us the chills! If ever that house is renovated, I hope it gets a house blessing. About those roof shingles, I guess the roof still looks good.
ReplyDeleteYour story gave me the heeby-jeebies, alright! =S The thought of someone unseen just roaming around the house is absolutely frightening. Anyhow, ghosts or no ghosts, I do hope you pushed through with the renovation, especially with the roof. It looks like it needs replacements with the felt, the shingles, and the fascia boards.
